New baked potatoes with bacon


I didn't know what to eat the other day and I thought the following idea would be good;) It turned out very good, try it too!

  • 1-1.5 kg. new potatoes;
  • a few slices of bacon / kaiser (thinly sliced ​​to become crispy);
  • salt;

Servings: 3

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION New baked bacon potatoes:

Wash the new potatoes with a sponge, without peeling.

Wallpaper a tray with baking paper and put the potatoes.

Put the tray in the oven heated to 220 degrees for 40 minutes.

Add over the potatoes, from place to place, the slices of bacon / kaiser and leave in the oven for another 15-20 minutes until nicely browned.

Serve with different salads.

Baked fennel potatoes

Clean, wash, remove the spine and thinly slice a fennel bulb.
Onions are cleaned, washed, chopped and placed separately. Put the oil and butter in a pan and heat it.
Put the onion and fennel in the hot oil and fry for 10-15 minutes, until it turns a light brown color.

In the meantime, clean and wash the potatoes, then slice them very, very thin (if you have a mandolin it is ideal). After the slicing operation is ready, mix the potatoes with salt, pepper, cream milk and cheese that you want to use. I used mozzarella and parmesan.

After they are well mixed, mix them with the onion and fennel, then put them in a tray (form) that goes in the oven. Level, press lightly with a spoon. From the second amount of latpe and cheese, make a mixture that is poured over the potatoes and put in the oven.

If the potatoes are not very thin, it would be good to increase the amount of milk by a few tablespoons. Bake for about an hour to an hour and a half. If it starts to brown too much, cover with a lid, and keep in the oven until the potatoes are ready.

It is consumed as a stand-alone food or with steak and sour cabbage.


Baked potatoes wrapped in bacon

An unpretentious food that can be prepared quickly. This way, you will spend less time in the kitchen, and more with your family.

To prepare this recipe, you need the following ingredients:

  • 1 kg of potatoes, small, ideally elongated, can also be new potatoes
  • bacon strips, can also be smoked (approx. 6-8)
  • salt and pepper
  • a hand with dried sage
  • a tablespoon of cold-pressed rapeseed oil
  • toothpicks.

Wash the potatoes well and boil them in salted water until soft on three quarters.

Then drain the water and cut in half, lengthwise.

Each piece of potato is wrapped in a piece of bacon, which is then fixed with a toothpick.

Place the potatoes in a tray lined with baking paper.

Pour the oil into a thin wire, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with sage and put the tray in the preheated oven at 200ºC for 30-40 minutes.

When the bacon is brown and the potatoes are soft, turn off the heat and remove the pan from the oven.


Baked potatoes with bacon and onion - quick recipe

  • 1 kg. potatoes
  • 2 red onions
  • 200 gr. bacon or kaiser
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 50 ml. oil
  • 30 gr. butter
  • greenery - parsley, dill according to preferences

Preparation Baked potatoes with bacon and onion - quick recipe

  1. Turn the oven on and preheat to 180 degrees C.
  2. Peel the potatoes, rinse in clean water and cut into cubes, first cut the potato crosswise, then cut the two halves into two / three pieces, depending on the size of the potatoes.
  3. Boil in a pot for 5 minutes until the water starts to boil. We don't boil them anymore because they will also cook in the oven.
  4. Until the potatoes are cooked, prepare the other ingredients: slice the bacon, peel the garlic and cut it into thin slices and peel the onion and cut the scales.
  5. In the tray prepared for baking, put the fried potatoes and drain well of water, add the bacon, garlic and onion.
  6. Pour the oil over the ingredients in the pan.
  7. Sprinkle with greens, season with salt and pepper and mix carefully so that the ingredients are evenly seasoned and distributed in the pan before being put in the oven.
  8. Seal the tray with aluminum foil and put in the oven.
  9. After 15-20 minutes, remove the aluminum foil and continue to brown in the oven. Be very careful when removing the foil, the steam that is released can burn you hard, use thermal gloves for the kitchen to avoid this type of unpleasant incident.
  10. Once the foil is removed, the potatoes will need to be closely monitored and from time to time, mix with a wooden spoon in the pan so that the ingredients brown evenly.
  11. When the potatoes are nicely browned, take them out of the oven

Baked potatoes with bacon and onion - quick recipe - how to serve

These baked potatoes with bacon and onion can be very well served as such but go great as a side dish next to a grill or next to a steak. If you serve them as such, being a fairly consistent food, 4 servings will result, if you serve them as a side dish, they will be enough for 6-8 people. Baked potatoes with bacon and onion are served warm, sprinkled with fresh greens on top, with pickles or salad next to it. Great appetite!


For the beginning we will prepare the potatoes, wash them and wrap each potato in an aluminum foil, put them in the oven for 30-45 minutes at a temperature of 200-220 degrees.

Until the potatoes are cooked, fry the diced bacon a little.

Remove the baked potatoes from the oven, wrap them in aluminum foil and let them cool for about 5 minutes, but not at all.

With a sharp knife we ​​will cut a lid in each potato.

With a teaspoon we will carefully remove the potato pulp, leaving only a little on the edges.

We put the potato core in a deeper bowl.

After we have dug out all the potatoes, we will mix the butter and the potato core, it is very important that the potato is still hot. From the amount of bacon, leave a little for decoration and add the rest to the potato pulp, pour a little milk, salt and pepper to taste, mix everything.

Grate the cheese, 50 gr. put the cheese aside, add the rest to the potato composition and mix well.


New potatoes with bacon and cabanos, in the oven

I cut the bacon strips thinner and used butter instead of lard.
